Another great week had by all, reading ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The children were thrilled by my storytelling and renactment of the Giant’s downfall! We all chose seeds to plant, from sweetcorn to Basil to Sunflowers. The garden flowers are looking lovely – thanks to the children for helping tend them. We had fun at our Monday Dance/Games group and played a very interesting version of ‘Farmer’s in the Den’ where the children chose a knife instead of a wife and a mouse and a cheese!? Our Wednesday group had fun at the Library and enjoyed a sunny picnic in the park too. We are looking forward to more fun next week with a stone hunt, stone painting, parachute games and lots more.
